FGL LEARNING OPTION FAQs:
Is there any refund or partial refund exceptions?
We are sorry, but there are no partial refunds. If you email us within 24 hours of purchase with a request for a refund, we can process a refund with Paypal. However, please be mindful that this can still incur a significant service charge for us, so we ask for your kind consideration to make your purchase with the full intention and commitment to complete the class.
After purchasing, when can I start the FGL ONLINE CLASS?
Upon purchasing an online subscription (option 1), your account will have the "Four Gifts of Love Class Online" listed. Hover your cursor over your name after login (upper right-hand corner of site) and you can click the class for immediate access. Your remaining subscription time will show up at the upper right corner of each assignment.
What if we need to reschedule a check-in or session?
Check-Ins: You will be offered 2 opportunities to reschedule within 2 days of the original check-in if the FGL COACH is emailed before 24 hours of the check-in. If the request for cancellation is received less than 24 hours of the scheduled check-in, then the check-in will be forfeited.
Private FGL COACH-LED Sessions: You will be offered 2 opportunity to reschedule within 2 days of the original session, if the FGL COACH is emailed before 24-hours of the session. If the request for cancellation is not received less than 24 hours of the scheduled session, then the session will be forfeited.
Group FGL COACH-LED Sessions: Each couple will be offered 1 opportunity to reschedule within 2 days of the original session, replacing the group session with a private session, if the FGL COACH is emailed before 24 hours of the session. If the request for cancellation is not received within 24 hours of the scheduled session, then the session will be forfeited. NOTE: If a holiday week affects all group members, a complimentary reschedule is at the discretion of the FGL COACH.
What happens if we are not able to complete the class within the 3-month period?
Subscribers of the online class are given an opportunity to purchase a 2-month extension. However, if the subscription expires and the extension was not purchased, the subscriber will need to start the subscription process again as if they were starting a new FGL Class subscription (no quiz or assignment completion data is stored after expiration). An opportunity to purchase a discounted FGL Coach-led, private Class (non-online curriculum format) will also be offered at that time for those who prefer to be guided.
Do I need to purchase a subscription for my spouse for the online Class?
Not needed. As a bonus, there will be an "Apply It Now" click at the top of the Class Welcome Page where subscribers can link the subscription to their spouse's existing FGLOI account for free. (This requires your spouse to first have an FGLOI account.) The bonus subscription allows spouses the flexibility to complete the individual assignments on their own device and at locations of their choice (e.g., during a work lunch break).
For the check-ins and Class sessions:
- How will our FGL COACH contact us?
You will be contacted using your FGLOI site registered emails and/or the emails you provide. Please check your junk file in case any correspondence was misdirected.
- What does "GMT+08" time zone mean?
Eight hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Your FGL Coaches are located in Manila, Philippines, which has the time zone of GMT+08.
- Will my check-in or session time change if my time zone changes between daylight savings or standard time?
Yes, your time will change because GMT+08 remains constant. For example, if you are in Minnesota, USA (GMT-06), and you schedule your first session on September 30 at 7 PM during standard time (March-October), there would be a 13-hour difference from GMT+08; but after daylight savings time (October-March), the time difference would be 14 hours behind GMT+08. (To determine your particular time, you may want to use a time zone converter, like Time Zone Converter, using Manila as the reference city).
So it is up to you to determine if your session time changes when your time zone changes. Otherwise, you will risk forfeiting the session or check-in due to not showing up on time for the meeting.
What are some of our responsibilities when meeting with our FGL COACH? (For more information, please also read the Tele-education Informed Consent Checklist.)
- Ability to download the appropriate Zoom™ meeting software on your device
- Webcam or phone camera to see the RCF and/or view session videos
- Adequate internet connectivity and secure connection (not public or unsecured WiFi)
- Distraction-free environment for the entire check-in or session.
How do we use Zoom™ for the check-ins or sessions, if needed?
Zoom™ is a free, teleconferencing platform that you and your FGL COACH may be using for your meetings. You will need to download the software onto the device that you will be using. Simply go to the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play (for Android) and download "Zoom Cloud Meetings," or go to Zoom.us/download and download "Zoom Client for Meetings."
Your FGL COACH will email you the meeting ID and password. Please be aware that recording of the check-ins or sessions is not allowed for your protection and to protect the copyright of the FGL session videos if used.
